Can I customize the member database to meet my organization’s unique needs?
Yes. You can easily add custom attributes to maintain specific detailed data for your organization. Any custom field can be presented to members OR kept hidden and used for your own administrative purposes.
Can I create custom questions for my new member application?
Yes. Standard fields such as name, email, address, phone etc. are standard. You can create as many custom questions as you want and display in a form for new members to complete at sign-up, renewal or both.
Absolutely. For each level you can se the new member fee, the renewal fee, length of term, renewal date, approval process etc. You can even set up different approval processes for each level – for one level you may want to manually review each new member application but for another level you can set to auto=approve. The configuration of levels is very flexible.
Can I automatically renew members and charge them?
You have the flexibility to configure this so members are automatically renewed and charged OR invoiced. Additionally, scheduled notifications are sent prompting members that their membership is due for renewal.
We have existing member data, can you help me migrate this into Membership Manager?
Sure. Once you create your account, contact your account rep and we can help you with this process.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No, that’s the beauty of hosted software. All you need is a browser and an internet connection. We maintain the infrastructure, security and software maintenance so you can focus on growing your membership.
Can I export my member database?
Yes, it’s your data. You can export your data at anytime in CSV format.
What are the payment options for members?
We use PayPal to process payments. So, users can pay via PayPal, Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Discover as well as mailed check.
What are the set-up costs to use Membership Manager?
There are no up-front costs to use the software. You can start using it without any out-of-pocket costs at all. We won't even ask for your credit card when you create your account.

How often do I receive my membership dues collected online through Membership Manager?
Compete-At immediately places all funds collected into your PayPal account.
Do I pay monthly or annually to use Membership Manager?
Neither. All we charge is a transaction fee each time a member signs-up or renews.
What are the benefits to small clubs?

Our members typically don't like to use the internet, how will this benefit me?
Membership Manager is a tool for you to use to help streamline the logistical nightmares of tracking payments, renewals, levels, etc. It provides you with a robust searchable database that tracks everything. You can say goodbye to tedious manual updates to a spreadsheet. Regardless of whether your members interact with the system online, it is still a huge benefit to you as the administrator. Membership dues can also be paid by check, you can use the system to track payments received via postal mail.
We're a non-profit, can we accept donations online as well?
Yes. Membership Manager is integrated with Event Manager, an online registration solution. You can create a simple event to accept online donations throughout the year.
Can I use Membership Manager with my existing website?
Yes. Many customers have very robust existing websites. Membership Manager is often linked to from these websites so members can login securely. You can also upload a custom banner on your public page to match the look and feel of your existing website.
Do you offer webinars or training?

Can we accept online registrations for our events using Membership Manager?
Membership Manager is integrated with our our Event Manager product. Event Manager is an event registration solution that can be used for many different types of events.
