Common Questions
I lost my password, how do I recover it?
You can recover your Compete-At password by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page of the specific event; you will be prompted to recover the password by answering the security question. If you can't remember the answer to your security question, please create a trouble ticket.
I can't remember my username, how do I figure it out?
Your username is your Email address. If you have a business and personal Email address, please try both. If you still have difficulty, create a trouble ticket here.
How do I know if I'm completely registered for an event and all my requirements are received?
From your Passport account select the event in the "My Events" section. While logged in as an event registrant you will see the status of each of the requirements. If a status is pending, it means that the event organizer is still reviewing your requirement and has not yet approved it. View a sample here.
I'm having trouble accepting an invitation, what should I do?
Be sure you are using the same email address your invitation was sent to. Go to the event homepage, enter your email address in the "Register" box and the next step should display a message that you have been invited. If you do not see this message, you are using an incorrect email address, do not proceed. Have your team captain resend you an invitation.
How do I cancel my registration or withdraw from an event?
You will need to communicate this directly with the event organizer to withdraw from the event and to request refunds. Go to the event website and click "contact" in the main navigation to contact the event organizer.
Instead of accepting an invitation, I re-entered a new team. How do I fix that?
Contact the event organizer and ask them to withdraw your errant entry. Then you will need to be re-invited by your team again to accept the invitation.
