FAQs

What will this cost my club?

Activating your club account is free. Compete-At is a pay-as-you-go service, whereby we retain a small percentage of each registration. Through this partnership, State & Regional Associations receive a 40% discount on all convenience fees. Clubs receive a 20% discount on all convenience fees. Example: You are running a state tournament and charge $50 for an entry. Compete-At would retain a convenience fee (processing fee) of $1.50 and distribute the rest back to you.

What are my options to offset this convenience fee?

Some clubs absorb the cost, others pass it back to registrants by slightly increasing the cost of registration. For anglers, the convenience of online registration is well worth the minor increase in registration fees. It eliminates the need to send paper checks, pay postage and complete forms by hand.

Does this replace my existing club website or can i just link to my event registrations?

Not at all. Many clubs have put a great deal of time and effort into creating a unique and compelling club website. From your existing website you can simply link to your new registration pages managed in Event Manager. For clubs that don't have a strong web presence, Event Manager gives you the ability to create a club website at no additional cost. Additionally, your Event Manager registration pages can be branded to match your existing website.
